My writing career began when my middle daughter asked me to document the bedtime stories that I told them when they were younger.

I have been a storyteller since I was young, exaggerating and expanding on my story to improve its telling. This has led to my ability to encourage people to listen. From that small beginning, I have found my head full of stories. These stories are now being written for the enjoyment of young people everywhere.

  1. I’ve been called quirky, and odd. I prefer “weird.”

  2. I used to race rally cars in Europe.

  3. I’ve lived in 4 different countries.

  4. I enjoy starting a new hobby more than I enjoy taking part in.

  5. After many attempts, I have decided that I am dangerous when I ski.

  6. I have been in two TV adverts.

  7. I enjoy driving German cars, BMW, Audi, and Mercedes.

  8. I have fly-fished almost every weekend, for over 5 years, and caught 4 fish, in total.

  9. I love forties clothing, but do not own any.

  10. I love reading the Russian authors.

  11. If I had to watch a film every day for the rest of my life, I would watch Groundhog Day.

  12. Curling is the sport of friends. I am hooked.

  13. I have no musical talent at all.

  14. I have visited every country in Europe.

  15. I am allergic to alcohol, so rarely taste it.

  16. I am fluent in one language but can speak it in 67 countries.

  18. It is my dream to live in a place where the nearest coffee shop is 100m away but no one lives within 10km.

  19. I have purchased over 10,000 books in my life and read less than half.

  20. When my children were young, I convinced them I had eyes in the back of my head.

  23. I have three daughters., one weird, one sensible, and one who is exactly like me. I feel most sorry for that one.
